Having trouble figuring if you need male or female edges? Here's a tip: If you are edging all four sides, add the total of all four sides then divide by two to tell you how many of each type of edge. For example, here's how you figure the edges for a 20' x 10' space: 20 + 20 + 10 + 10 = 60. Divide by two = 30. You need 30 female and 30 male edges.
When edging only one side, remember:
Left side: male edges
Right side: female edges
Top: female edges
Bottom: male edges
